One of the simplest and most common ways of making a planned gift is through a will or a living trust. A bequest in a will can take the form of a fixed dollar amount, a specific asset, a percentage of an estate, a trust, or the naming of a charitable organization such as Hospice of the Valleys as a contingent beneficiary.

Volunteers are a vital part of the Hospice of the Valleys team. They bring caring concern, comfort and compassion to patients and families. Volunteers can become sensitive to patients' unique needs and are able to communicate those needs to Hospice of the Valleys' staff.
