Since 1982, Hospice of the Valleys has been offering loving care to people with life-threatening illnesses, support to their families and service to the community in a spirit of enriching lives.
As the only non-profit hospice headquartered in the Murrieta/Temecula area, we understand that coping with terminal illness presents many challenges - physical and emotional - to the patient and the family.
Our caring, experienced team of professionals and volunteers are prepared to meet those challenges and believes that no one, regardless of illness, age or ability to pay, should die alone or in pain.
In addition to Murrieta, Hospice of the Valleys provides comfort and care to residents from our sister city to the south. Between Murrieta and Temecula, we serve a population of over 200,000, making us one of the largest hospices in the region.
Temecula’s balmy weather, pleasant resorts and beautiful tourism spots make it one of the nicest locations in Riverside County. The city’s beautiful attractions and relaxed, easygoing population lend their experience and appearance to the hospice campus, providing a comfortable end-of-life experience for our residents that’s reflective of the location.
Hospice of the Valleys is the largest and most trusted hospice for the smaller communities of Fallbrook and Aguanga, completing our coverage of the Southwestern Riverside County. We provide comfortable coverage to communities within these areas, and provide in-home care, no matter how remote the location.
Hospice of the Valleys always provides the top level of care, even at the most remote of locations. This is reflected by our commitment to the Aguanga and Fallbrook communities. We will serve you or your loved one's needs in a dignified and comfortable fashion.
"Thank you Hospice of the Valley for providing such kind, compassionate care for our dear mother. Knowing when to educate and inform and when to be silent and listen to our grief ridden questions, suggestions, stories... and on. Our mother was our hero and best friend and you treated her with dignity and kindness. You made us worry less through the last few months and that is priceless. Love."
"I cannot say enough to express my gratitude of the service provided by this Hospice for my dying mother, as well as the comfort they gave to me as her caretaker. They were there for me when I needed them most and I felt at times they carried me through this difficult time. Exemplary knowledge and skillset. To Renee, Lisa, Frannie, Joanna and Dr. Cochrane, I sincerely thank you all. You are true angels."
"My mother was on hospice for the last 3 1/2 weeks of her life. Unfortunately we didn't find Hospice of the Valleys until the last 2 weeks, but the difference between Hospice of the Valleys and the other big corporate hospice, VITAS, was amazing. Hospice of the Valleys did a fantastic job at every turn. The doctors, nurses and everyone we dealt with were terrific."
